Summary
Mr. Heinze has a diverse practice and has represented clients in a variety of areas of law, including business litigation, contract disputes, trusts, compliance matters and employment cases. He also has considerable experience representing developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, material suppliers and homeowner associations in construction defect litigation. Mr. Heinze has successfully defended his clients in lawsuits ranging from the construction of large-scale developments to single family homes, as well as actions involving commercial complexes, restaurants, public construction works and medical facilities.
Mr. Heinze’s work covers all phases of litigation, from pre-lawsuit planning to trial and beyond, encompassing motion practice, taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, trial documents and appellate briefs, as well all other facets of preparing cases for trial.
Mr. Heinze received his legal training from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, where he was an editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Elizabeth A. Lippitt of the Los Angeles Superior Court. He also interned at Mental Health Advocacy Services.
